Climate | Changes | Global Perspectives. International Online Symposium (August 2-13, 2021)

    02.08.2021

In the spirit of the Environmental Humanities, which foster not only interdisciplinarity, but also an international character in research, the Challenges of Modernity Summer Symposium calls together different perspectives in order to question standardized patterns of representing and understanding environmental crisis. This two-week long exploration open to PhDs and Advanced Masters students from around the world will be anchored by keynotes from scholars whose work exemplifies the intersection of creative and critical scholarship at the vanguard of new representational form(at)s.

Registration for the full symposium is already closed. However, the keynotes  are open to the public. To register for the keynotes, please send an email to eh@uni-wuerzburg.de. The readings and the Zoom link will be sent to you after registration. This symposium is part of "WueGlobal - Writing, Learning, Digital Connection" funded by the International Virtual Collaboration Program (IVAC) / Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD) / Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF). Participation in the keynotes can be applied to the WueGlobal certificate.
